Ian's Retirement Fundraiser and Artwork Donations

Ian recently held his retirement evening, with family and around 40 current and ex-work colleague guests from the past 20+ years here in Australia - a terrific evening at the Treehouse Hotel North Sydney. Ian decided to hold a Fundraiser for Foodbank NSW/ACT, to give back and help those families currently struggling to have sufficient food. The Fundraiser combined direct online donations with additional donations to purchase copies of Ian's varied artwork - and a special blind auction for the original A3 framed watercolour of the Waratah test train and Milson's Point station with the Sydney Harbour Bridge in the background. The winner was Andy Lowe, who initially recruited Ian from Taiwan to Halcrow Sydney office in 2006, and who is also Aleena's godfather -some photos of the evening.
