My latest Dog Painting - Soda the Boxer

For Cherene at the Jacobs North Sydney office - having heard about Cherene's young boxer dog, I took on a learning process to do an art piece that hopefully Cherene would say "That's my Soda - who looks like this when you ask "What have I got for you, Soda?" I am pleased to say that my light to dark colour choice, the details added towards the end for the eyes, nose, muzzle and mouth, along with the shadow effects all came together wonderfully. The decision not to do a background colour wash as my original plan was also a wise choice as it makes Soda stand out from the crowd. My policy is not to sell any prints of the original artwork that I have provided to friends and family, so this is exhibited in my Gallery as a Sample Only.
